Terms of Use
Plain terms for a free, local tool.
Last updated: September 6, 2026
Acceptance
By installing or using Memini you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension.
What Memini is
Memini is a browser extension that records the audio of a browser tab, your microphone, or both, and lets you trim and export the result. Recording and processing happen entirely on your device. It is provided free of charge, with no account and no subscription.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use the extension and for the recordings you make. In some countries and organizations recording a conversation requires the consent of everyone involved; obtaining that consent and complying with applicable laws is your responsibility.
Do not use Memini to record where you are not permitted to, or in any unlawful way.
No warranty
The extension is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every recording will be captured or preserved. Keep your own backups of anything important.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any lost recordings, lost data, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the extension.
Intellectual property
The extension and its name and logo belong to their authors. Your recordings belong to you — we neither claim nor access them.
Changes
These terms and the extension may change over time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected in this document.
